I’ve been anticipating this day to come for a long time but more so the last couple of days as my weight has been hovering at 301 lbs. And I knew the minute it happened I would grab the camera and show all of you…
Goodbye 300+ pounds. May I never see the scale begin with the number 3 again!
I’m so excited. To date, it’s 87.6 lbs lost. And I’m still hoping that tomorrow it’s even lower.
I can’t remember the last time I saw the scale start with a 2. I have never weighed myself to know where I was at any given time. And I presume that the last time I really knew my weight I was around the 250 lbs mark as that seems to be what I put on my driver’s license… every four years since I was 18. Either that or it was just a guess at what my weight is. And honestly, because I really can’t remember, I’m going to presume that it was a guess.
And speaking of my driver’s license, it is to be renewed Feb. 2011. My goal and hope is that I can actually BE the weight on my license. And I swear, I will never lie about my weight on my license again.
Woohoo! What an awesome feeling- and well deserved.
Thank you. It does feel incredible!!
i cannot wait to get a loss, I too try to avoid scales. Hopefully soon my heaviest weight will be the last thing i try to hide lol
I used to avoid scales too. Now I look forward to weighing in in the morning to see what the previous day did or did not do for me. LOL Good luck on your weight loss journey!!
Great job! I had my lap band surgery in July and I am down about 73 pounds. But I’ve been stuck at 73 for awhile now, and watching your videos and reading your blog helps keep me motivated. It’s so hard when the scale won’t budge. But I’m losing inches like crazy, so I guess I should just shut up! Great work, Katy, you look terrific.
73 lbs is awesome Siri, congratulations! And you’re right, be thankful for those inches. I love watching both the scale and the inches change. And what’s become fun for me is to look at jewelry and see all the things I can now wear but would have never before. A necklace fits comfortably and so do bracelets! Woohoo.
So happy I can help keep you motivated. Now if I could just move out of this seriously crazy time in my life, I could make more videos! UGH!!
Congratulations!! I”m so happy for you!
Thank you Kori!
Congrats!!!!
Thank you Tammy!
